Line Editing
Line editing focuses on the craft of your prose at the sentence and paragraph level, refining how your ideas are expressed without changing your core meaning or voice. It addresses clarity, flow, tone, rhythm, and word choice so that each sentence reads smoothly, feels intentional, and supports the overall impact of your writing.
Line editing includes a Discovery Session to identify your manuscript’s stylistic goals and areas of focus, one round of detailed line editing that strengthens sentence structure, pacing, clarity, and consistency while preserving your voice, and a Follow-Up Session after you receive your edits to help you understand revisions, discuss editorial choices, and apply changes effectively as you continue refining your manuscript.
If you'd like your manuscript polished at both the stylistic and technical levels, you can include copyediting in your request for line editing.
